Psalm 116:1-2   I love the Lord, for he heard my voice and he heard my cry for mercy.  Because he turned his ear to me,   I will call on him as long as I live.   Why is it that most of us use prayer as an emergency 911 service? We call on God only when life falls apart and there's nowhere to turn. We are almost all guilty of this. How much better it would be to talk to God every day? Daily prayer may not prevent thing from falling apart. But if you start your prayer time thanking God for the blessing you have, you may just feel better the rest of the day having talked to God and know that God is listening.
